Divine Favour Onyemaechi is a Nigerian microbiologist and early-career public health researcher who graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Benin, where she was recognised as the best graduating student in both the Department of Microbiology and the Faculty of Life Sciences. Throughout her undergraduate studies, she received multiple awards for academic excellence.

She is currently a Research Department Intern at the Centre for Clinical Care and Clinical Research (CCCRN), where she supports clinical and public health research through literature reviews, data analysis, database management, and scientific writing. She previously completed a Research and Innovation internship at the National Institute for Cancer Research and Treatment (NICRAT), contributing to cancer research through literature reviews, evidence synthesis, and research documentation.

Her research interests include infectious diseases, HIV, health systems strengthening, and global health financing. She is committed to generating evidence that informs policy and supports stronger, more equitable, and sustainable health systems across Africa.
