Endalamaw Gadisa is a lead researcher in the Malaria and Neglected Tropical Diseases research division at Armauer Hansen Research Institute. He holds a BSc in Applied Biology and an MSc in Applied Genetics from Addis Ababa University, as well as a Doctorate in Microbiology and Parasitology from the Complutense University of Madrid.
His research focuses on leishmaniases, molecular epidemiology, immunology and geospatial mapping. He has a strong interest in multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research spanning the continuum from basic to implementation research and clinical trials.
To date, he has authored/co-authored more than 115 peer-reviewed publications.
