Erick Nimungu is a Ugandan Public Health Specialist with over 13 years of experience in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), focusing on Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH).

Currently, he is the Intervention Officer – Public Health at Enabel Uganda, where he supports maternal and newborn health systems strengthening across project districts. Previously at Enabel, he served as Intervention Officer – Results-Based Financing, coordinating financing mechanisms to improve RMNCAH quality of care. His foundational leadership includes serving as District Surveillance Officer and RMNCAH Focal Point for Zombo District, Uganda, where he led outbreak investigations, strengthened epidemiological reporting systems, and coordinated district-wide RMNCAH quality-of-care programmes.

Erick holds a Master of Science in Public Health from the International Health Sciences University Uganda. He is presenting on perinatal death surveillance and accountability frameworks, drawing from his extensive field experience in Kasese District, Uganda.
