Dr Farzana Zaman, MBBS, MPH, CCD is a physician, public health researcher, and Tuberculosis (TB) programme specialist currently serving as Divisional TB Expert at the National Tuberculosis Control Programme (NTP), Directorate General of Health Services, Bangladesh. She has over 15 years of experience spanning clinical research, infectious disease epidemiology, TB control, vaccine trials, and health systems strengthening. Before joining the NTP, she worked at icddr,b, contributing to several landmark vaccine clinical trials and implementation research. Her research interests include tuberculosis, maternal and child health, One Health, antimicrobial resistance, and health equity in low- and middle-income countries. Dr Zaman has presented her work at numerous international scientific conferences and has received several competitive travel awards and scholarships. She is an active member of multiple international scientific societies and is committed to advancing evidence-informed public health policy and practice.
