Dr Lerato Mambulu is a Lecturer and Internal Medicine Physician at Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHeS) and Kamuzu Central Hospital in Malawi. She obtained her Master of Medicine (MMeD) in Internal Medicine in 2023 and is currently pursuing a Master's in Health Professions Education. Her work is driven by a passion for teaching, research, and patient care, with the goal of inspiring the next generation of Malawian doctors and improving patient outcomes. She is the coordinator of the Postgraduate Diploma in HIV Medicine (PGDHIV) programme at KUHeS and serves on the University's Research and Ethics Committee. She has attended and presented her work at several international conferences and programmes, including the European AIDS Clinical Society (EACS) HIV Summer School in 2025. Lerato also serves as the Malawi Ambassador for The Sumaira Foundation, advocating for greater awareness of rare neuroimmune disorders.
