Dr Line Pamphile Lobaloba Ingoba holds a PhD in Molecular Biology and Applied Immunology from the Faculty of Science and Technology, Marien Ngouabi University. She specialises in immunology and public health, working particularly on infectious diseases.

Through her scientific engagement, she has received:

  • the first regional Women and Science scholarship, in March 2024;
  • the international scholarship from the German Society for Immunology, in March 2024;
  • a small grant from the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) in 2021; and
  • a grant from the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (RSTMH) during her doctoral period.

She is often cited as a role model for young women in science in Congo and was honoured by the European Union on International Day of Women and Girls in Science on 8 March 2024.
