Pankras Luoga is a Tanzanian public health researcher and academic affiliated with the School of Public Health and Social Sciences at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS). Pankras has published more than 58 articles in both national and international peer-reviewed journals. His research focuses on epidemiology, social determinants of health and health inequities, healthcare management and leadership, and monitoring and evaluation, with strong expertise in the analysis of nationally representative data such as the Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) and Malaria Indicator Surveys (MIS). He has published extensively on reproductive, maternal, and adolescent health, disability, healthcare utilisation, mass media and health communication, and gender-related health outcomes, including cervical cancer screening, teenage pregnancy, intimate partner violence, and healthcare access. Through his work, he contributes evidence to inform public health policy and practice in Tanzania and the wider sub-Saharan African region.
