Tamalee Roberts is a research scientist at the Lao-Oxford Mahosot Hospital Wellcome Trust Research Unit (LOMWRU) in Laos. With a background in diagnostic microbiology and public health, Tamalee carries out research on the epidemiology of infectious diseases of regional importance in Southeast Asia. Tamalee has a specific focus on how changing climates are impacting disease transmission dynamics in the region, including diseases such as leishmaniasis, scrub typhus, melioidosis, and typhoid fever, as well as increasing antimicrobial resistance.
